About Me

Hi, I’m Johnny.

I use my skills as a user experience researcher and interaction designer to create engaging, user-centric interfaces for small non-profits and Fortune 500 companies such as Intel, McAfee, and Qualcomm.

This work includes conducting research to establish requirements as well as test interfaces for usability issues. I also design user interfaces, user scenarios, wireframes, workflows, storyboards, and interactive prototypes.

I am a Certified Scrum Product Owner with a deep knowledge of the product development lifecycle and champion the importance of UX in that process. I’ve managed teams of designers, writers, printers, and engineers—some of the most technically proficient and creative people in the industry. Even more importantly, I continue to maintained strong relationships with these colleagues.

I’ve served as President of the board of directors for AIGA, the professional association for design, where I’ve supported the development of the Portland chapter’s Sustainability Initiative, reviewed portfolios of young designers, and created forums for design presentations.

I am a thoughtful and dedicated individual, and contribute leadership in creative direction garnered from many years of experience.
